PrivateJenny is a Partner and head of Talent at Schillings
After graduating from Cambridge University, Jenny worked for a major City law firm for four years, primarily dealing with corporate litigation. She joined Schillings in 2006 to focus on privacy and defamation.
In 2008 Jenny was named Young Solicitor of the Year at the British Legal Awards. The following year she was identified in Chambers and Partners as "an associate to watch" and described as "fantastically smart". The 2010 edition stated that Jenny remained "a favourite with clients for her work on both pre-and post-publication matters", while the 2011 issue describes her as "absolutely superb, extremely professional and always at the end of the phone". The current edition commends her as a "fantastic client lawyer".
Whilst Jenny is a skilled litigator, she prefers using the experience accumulated from years of dealing with crises to help clients avoid issues occurring. A large part of her practice is now devoted to helping clients take pro-active steps to help control what's public and private about them.
The expertise Jenny has developed in the celebrity world is also applied in the commercial sphere, where businessmen and women are increasingly finding themselves in the spotlight. As a result, her client base extends from the world's best selling artists to its best performing hedge-funds.
