The Sun has today published an apology to Manchester City and its owner Sheikh Mansour over false allegations that the Sheikh had provided watches worth £168,000 to players on a visit to Abu Dhabi.
The newspaper has agreed to pay legal costs and a sum of damages, which the Club has donated to the Manchester New Children’s Hospital appeal.
