Both of the sessions that Schillings participated at the IBA Annual Conference 2010 were a great success.
All of the speakers attracted critical acclaim from the audience; notably Miguel Portela of FIFA and Charles Hotel of VANOC, who shared some illuminating insights into the recent World Cup and Winter Olympics. The media law panel generated significant and boisterous debate particularly between the wide-ranging jurisdictions which were represented.
Vancouver, itself, was a wonderful location for the event, with magnificent facilities and clear signs of the positive effects of the recent Winter Olympics. All in all the team had an enjoyable trip and met some interesting people.
