Manchester City take action over The Sun allegations

Manchester City today confirmed that an allegation published in today’s Sun newspaper, that the club’s owner Sheikh Mansour had gifted its players expensive watches on a visit to Abu Dhabi, is a complete fabrication. In actual fact Sheikh Mansour was not even in the same country as the players on the date of the alleged gift.
The Club and Sheikh Mansour have made a legal complaint to the Sun through Schillings.
