Jessica regularly acts for high-net-worth individuals and corporates on pre-publication matters including preventing the publication of defamatory allegations and obtaining pre-publication injunctive relief.
Jessica has worked on matters for clients including Cristiano Ronaldo, Jonathan Ross, Sharon Osbourne, Alisher Usmanov and serial entrepreneur Stelios Haji-Ioannou.
On post-publication matters, Jessica has obtained prompt and prominent apologies for her clients in print media, on the internet and via radio broadcast. In particular Jessica worked alongside partner Rachel Atkins representing Arsenal shareholder, Alisher Usmanov, in obtaining apologies in the Mail on Sunday and Saturday Sport. Jessica also specialises in the speedy removal of defamatory or inaccurate articles on the internet.
Jessica also has particular expertise in employment law, having conducted a number of these cases for high-profile individuals, including acting for newsreader, Selina Scott in her age discrimination claim against Channel Five last year. Jessica also advises on redundancy procedures and also advises corporate clients on confidentiality issues and disputes involving ex-employees.
Jessica also has experience in corporate and commercial law having completed a three month secondment from Schillings to Tiscali's in-house legal department.
